Born in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, Manon Fantini lives and works in Zürich. She graduated as an architect in Lausanne in 2009, with a special interest for social life in urban sprawls (Motel São Paulo, Intimacy in the Megacity). She has worked as an architect, event officer and as an academic teaching assistant.

Since 2016, her personal practice seeks to enhance the value of existing and new spatial resources by setting up collaborative ventures. She allows for unexpected potentials and synergies to emerge and be explored according to specific geographic and sociocultural contexts, with formats that mobilize neighborhoods, and generate exchanges and visibility.

Her performances have enabled her to set up collective experiments in South America (Architecture Biennial of São Paulo) as well as in Germany and in Switzerland where she regularly organizes inclusive events with artists and local cultural partners (Gessnerallee, Zürich, Theater Südpol, Luzern).

She regularly collaborates with architecture offices (Raum 404, Aazar), theatre companies and cultural organisations (Mercimax, B-Sides Festival) for the implementation of participatory projects and the development of inclusive formats.
